@rene Some of those comments I totally want to flag. Like the prick one.

@Frank I don't have an answer to post (and don't want to post a fake one), but the list of recent answers suggests the problem may be local to you. Maybe you could do something to change the IP address your computer is using?

@FamousBlueRaincoat hmm.
How would I do that?
Guess I could restart the router

@Frank you aren't answer banned?
And why do you get a captcha in the first place?

user259867
@Frank Looks like a pretty normal question by Puzzling standards.

@Frank Damn, you're lucky. That's actually a readable CAPTCHA

Q: We're working on a new stat to help convey the reach of your posts here

JaydlesWe've got a new statistic on the shiny new Profile Page Prototype. It's not perfect yet. And we did a pretty crap job of explaining what it's all about! Let's talk. What you do here isn't just about solving one person's problem. A while back, a user contacted us about his friend's account. His...

6 to 8 weeks surpassed Jon Skeet, it only took 6 to 8 weeks. — Ólafur Waage Nov 4 '09 at 23:06

@MaxVernon It seems they are still fiddling with numbers. The latest idea I heard was to raise the decimal log to 5th power and try to pretend it means something.

user259867
More seriously, that stat is a part of user profile redesign, and that thing is only 50% done at most -- after almost a year since the initial announcement.

@MaxVernon This one makes me laugh:
