So this question just got posted on Biology, and it's seriously weirding me out, which is strange, because I'm not easily weirded out by people. It's basically some guy on a rant about how he fantasizes about hurting women, then in the next comment completely denying it. I flagged it, but it should probably be deleted straight away. I don't know exactly how to describe it - just check it out.

Trusty ol' Java Swing had a thing for borders, I think it was BorderLayout .... but I'm not sure that is what you're looking for.

Either way the border did not become part of the image.
