Because you've always wanted to be able to turn off your kitchen lights while you're in bed.
@bjb568 I absolutely agree - what most people think of as "excercise" (running half a block every other week) doesn't do anything. If people just did all of the regular home maintenance tasks themselves - raking leaves, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, weeding gardens, chopping firewood, etc. - rather than hiring people to do those things for them, they would get exercise, be motivated to keep exercising, reduce time spent idle (aka eating snacks), get things done, and save money. None of those things takes more than an hour's research to learn, and only a relatively small capital investment. — AJMansfield 1 min ago
hahaha, what old fashioned things to do. Why would you rake leaves when they are beautiful and return nutrients to the soil? Why mow the lawn (or have a lawn if you hate grass)? Why shovel snow, why have a car? Why have a garden? And really why would you have wood to chop?
