@hichris123 It drives me crazy sometimes because people expect the askers to provide a Fiddle for things that don't even make sense; sure CSS, common JavaScript issues, etc., but the first comment on "alert(test) gives me undefined; what's wrong?" shouldn't be "Fiddle please." If you really want one, make it yourself!

The only time it's really useful is when the entire set of code is needed to make it work, but the issue is only located in a small part.

I have a quick questions regarding down votes. I down voted a few questions and answer today and my rep appears unaffected. I have not been able to find a reason in meta. Does anybody as a clue?

@DavidSegonds Downvotes on questions are free - they don't cost anything. It's -1 rep for downvoting answers. It's possible that the answerer deleted his post b.c of the downvote(s) , thus you would get the -1 rep back
