at least one question in the CVQ is going to be happy today....

@rene You can do it with Edit... ;P

@Braiam Would @animuson like to do the honors?

5:18 PM
@hichris123 weird... he rejected the one before stackoverflow.com/review/suggested-edits/5608409

Go fix something

@AstroCB I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt, because I haven't found any other example... maybe misclick

@Braiam That is weird... maybe a misclick?

@hichris123 ^

@Braiam lol, yeah.

5:20 PM
@hichris123 Maybe. I'm not sure about his review history in LQP: a lot of "Looks OK"s should have been "Edit"s, but most people don't care enough to edit them, so I guess that's fine.

@Jamal I think that's just a really bad answer.

DevPro...
XD

@Jamal I saw another one of those yesterday.
Didn't think it was spam at the time...

I think Tim once told me that answers like these from new users can be interpreted as spam.

5:21 PM
@AstroCB He misspelled "insecure"...

Hold on, lemme find it as it can be flagged now too.
Looks like it's been deleted.

@Jamal have seen one of those... at the time considered as spam

@hichris123 if it's not, then too broad

@hichris123 No: it's just poorly phrased.

@AstroCB Mmm... I think it's spam. We'll see.

But yeah, pretty much
If the OP accepted anyway, I wonder if the OP is a sock. That's what I've been told in these situations so far.

Hi Community

I don't understand why it takes ages for most terrible questions to be downvoted and closed and a lot of decent questions are downvoted for no reason without explanation.
How many close votes does this have?

We really need the ability to rescind flags.

Yeah.
pokes @Shog

Let's see who's on the wheel of blame for this...
It's Shog9's fault!

Someone drops an answer that is not an answer in the classic fashion. 50/50 chance: either revises it to make it an answer or just leaves (actually, more like 25/75). You go for the 75% chance of the answerer not coming back and flag as NAA. Miraculously, the Fastest Gun in the West prevails and it turns into an answer and is accepted. Now what?
That...doesn't make much sense.
I'll take it, though, because the Wheel of Blame doesn't lie.

I know. I meant in response to Felix King's comment (if the OP decides to search for the site).

I made the same mistake.

6:50 PM
@Unihedron Well, not to take it that far. Rather, it was moreof a way to fool Jamal for a second that I recommended CR to that person. ;)

It kinda reminds me of the time when Pops accused me of clicking on a spam link.

A: Does the current downvote system incentivize improvement of poor questions?

bjb568 Well, you posted a bad question and wasted people's time. That can't be undone. Not only should you feel good helping the community, you also get rewarded by the community in the form of not getting downvoted more! This isn't really a problem anyway, since most well-meaning users read the faq or...

@bjb568 Your answers are quite blunt. You might want to work on that if you want to avoid the controversy surrounding them.

To be picky, there's not actually a question in there
Although it's fairly easy to infer what the intended question is

So obviously the moderators don't have enough work and we need to make a system to give them more by incentivizing abusive behavior. — bjb568 5 secs ago
