@AnnaLear depends on the context. There's a grey area just outside of "accurate terms" that's closer in than "doesn't know what they're talking about", and "karma" goes in there. It might be an attempt at humor, which is like saying "interwebs", or maybe "internet points", or it might be just "I don't use this site enough to know what to call things". hard to tell.

of course, a little grace is always called for since everything is in writing and half of those writing aren't writing in their first language

@animuson ah, I didn't know about that. We don't really have the rant tag on MSO. It's been used here and there, but mostly just edited out of posts, and there's no wiki for it there.
