I'd keep this question alive. It's, ultimately, a nice thing to be able to do. And reverse-engineering the existing implementations really helps tweak the parameters.

@joeytje50 maybe but not entirely. If the answers take into account the (non-)determinstic way of calling destructors on a specific platform it is not an opinion but a fact that can be supported by documentation/specs from the maintainer of the platform.
I really like notifications for new inbox items. But I'd highly prefer it to only vibrate and play a sound that only plays for notifications from the SE app.

I think the previous behavior was that once you cast a vote on an answer at all, you lost all your remaining question votes. The current behavior is that once you get the "N votes remaining warning" you lose all your remaining question votes.
At one point, a mod suggested that I immediately delete those custom "This question is off-topic because" comments. I have, and I've been much happier.
