Does anyone know if I can have multiple VirtualHosts running in Apache on the same subdomain? I.e. I'd like to have it check /var/www first, and if that 404's then fall back on Passenger/rails.

@Andy In very small amounts, yes. It will have a high pH, and tend to upset the soil acidity level in high quantities, but it does have lots of phosphorus. If you get it composted, you will retain far more of the valuable materials in the leaves, and especially humus.

I have pulled the composted stuff from the bottom of previous years' piles and utilized that. A family member mentioned that the ash was good too, but I was skeptical, thinking that I'd burned all the "good stuff" (tm) away

Don't forget to get that speck of dirt that is right up against their closed door. If you don't get it the first time, hit the door a little harder and keep the vacuum there a little longer. Repeat 5-6 more times. If you still don't get it, crack the door open to get the dirt and then, since the door is open, might as well vacuum the main walkway into the room

(I've planned all of this during sleepless nights)
