We get several such feature requests each week, asking to make it mandatory to leave a comment with a downvote. Let's say we're rather fed up with the request.

Hello Moderators!
I got a series of downvotes yesterday (Serial downvoting). I think this (http://stackoverflow.com/users/1917782/ipatel) is the person who done this. Because one of his answer (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18267605/mfmailcomposeviewcontroller-unable-to-presentviewcontroller/18267689#18267689) was wrong, so I downvoted and added a comment why I downvoted. After that I get too many downvotes for my different questions and answers within a minute

I searched on meta, I got a post that says to wait till 24 Hrs, if nothing happens put a chat on Tavern. That's why I'm here

@Shog9: you are one of the moderator, so can you help me in this situation ?

@MidhunMP they are seemingly spread out enough for the filter not to catch them. Another thing to do is flag one of the donwnvoted posts of yours for moderator attention and explain the situation. You most likely won't get the rep back, and your flag might only be dismissed as "helpful", but they'll look into it.

that is weird, an edit I sent in had edits I did not make... e.g. to the tags, did not even touch them.... maybe a case of two edits colliding.

If it does, that's oK.

It might be beneficial to leave a comment on your question, though, to explain why you had it refunded and that you plan to add it again later, for those who were looking at it.

You can be vague in the reason, so long as people get the general idea.
