@Trufa So if you have a master branch and several feature branches you go between, for instance, with rebase you can make all the commits for whatever feature you want to merge in your main branch appear as if the work occurred after the head of it.

So my question is when I do git push origin remote what am I actually doing?

@Lucifer It's a beta site. Pro tem (temporary) mods are appointed based on their participation on the site and elsewhere as well. Once the site graduates, elections are held. Still, rep doesn't mean anything--if you're a good commnity member, you can still be elected

1. Don't do that.
