Sub domain, blog.mosheberman points at it.

Kinda got wonky today when I messed with the multi site setup. I found a sorta default setup but it changes my setup a little.

Now blog.mosheberman works, but mosheberman/Wordpress shows a 404

Weird.

The used to be interchangeable.

My profile page used to have a votes tab that showed me what my latest X votes were. It is not there anymore. What happened to it? Why was it removed? Where did the Votes Tab go? It took a long term vacation so it could come back, bigger, stronger and betterer. We brought it back in a format very similar to the activity stream, clearly you can only see your votes. You can see deletions/undeletions/closures and reopens as well as up/down ...

@TimStone: What's wrong with the voting script? Whenever I vote, it shows a popup "An error has occurred - please retry your request"

I reload the page, it shows my downvote is recorded, but doesn't update the vote counts until I expand the votes and reload again...

And I kinda got it back up and running, but not perfectly.

So now I just have a single WP site with two users on it.

So I was wondering if you'd have any ideas.

I'm going to break my printer into 4 equal sized pieces. And then indiscriminately grind the 4 pieces into dust.

And then buy a printer. And then break that one while at the store.

And then buy a third printer, and come home and print these documents.

Oh, that sucks. Did you figure out the cause?

I'm not entirely sure. I think there was some issue with my filesystem on my RAID, so that's hopefully fixed now...Intel Rapid Storage also apparently removed its drivers for some reason after I updated the BIOS on my motherboard, so perhaps that was ultimately the culprit.

Man, those are some esoteric problems you were having.

Seemed like something hard drive related anyway, because the BSOD wasn't able to save dump files unexpectedly.

But the drives are all listed as being in good health, so I have to figure it was something at the filesystem/driver level instead.

Though I feel this will be extremely beneficial to Physics.SE. We're swallowing two sites, and the users in those sites are wanting to join our nearly nonexistant community

So we get some good contributors :)

rep is transferred with posts, so the rest of the community will come chasing after it :)

Indeed, that's great incentive. Music.SE got a boost back when they merged the Guitars.SE site in, but now we are kind of a ghost town again.

For what it's worth, I still haven't seen that, even in an unsupported browser, but.

I haven't had any issues in Chrome 18 with just one chat window open. And I leave it open pretty much all day at work.

Hell, I have something like 19 chat tabs open >_> <_<

Is there a reason that the image URLs didn't just get switched to the CDN?

I suppose it doesn't make much difference as I've got a pending change that will indirectly address that, but that code can cause the page to take up to 11 seconds to fully load. |:

@balpha did you intentionally remove the 'stay on bottom' chat feature? (i personally hated it, so good). Or is the link just missing due to some CSS?

A: Mobile chat's "Stay on Bottom" behavior is extremely annoying

"Stay on bottom" is dead. I've spent some time improving the scrolling behavior (both in the mobile and the desktop version), and as part of this, I've managed to make it work on mobile devices without the user having to manually switch between "stay on bottom" and "let me scroll up" mode.

Very nice.
