A: Can trusted users delete accepted answers with a negative score?

Martin SmithThe answer to this question is "yes". The question here used to have an accepted answer consisting entirely of the text INCORRECT ANSWER REMOVED (if the OP unaccepts it, I'll delete it) but this has now been successfully deleted by three 20K+ users.

This is interesting. I wonder if it's a bug.

the proxy on this wifi has apparently decided to "optimise" this site by blocking gravatar pictures

@TimStone Do you know if the data explorer contains any information that's not in the data dump? (Ignoring VoteTypes and PostHistoryTypes.)

Hmm, I don't think so. They should be (fairly) identical.

Okay, I didn't think so, but I remembered reading a request for X to be included in the Data Explorer in particular.

I was considering asking for Tag.UserId to be included, for figuring out who's due the Taxonomist badge.

Yeah, generally they aren't in favour of releasing anything that you can't get through the site itself. Of course in this case, you can probably figure it out anyway from the data available, it's just much more problematic than if it was more easily presented.

A: Can I find out which tags I have created?

Jeff AtwoodIt is unlikely we will do this [that is, show who created a tag] due to the taxonomist badge gaming concerns outlined above.. and over and over and over in about fifty other posts on meta. I can't see anything good come of making this information public.

(I don't really follow that logic, but)

Alright, thanks for the link.

Aye. I think that the logic is kind of bad, since you can at least gauge how likely it is that you created a tag by the fact that it doesn't appear in the tag autocomplete.
That probably won't stop the cannon, though. :P

@TimStone What's this? Tags you've created won't show up in the autocomplete?

Oh, no. Just that if you're looking to create a tag that doesn't exist, you know it doesn't exist by it not showing up.
I don't know how tags that once existed but no longer exist behave in this regard, as far as creatorship goes, so it might not directly guarantee you're the tag creator.
But if someone were that inclined to get taxonomist, I think they could at least tip the odd in their favour.

Okay. I'm just curious for ting people on meta; no personal need for this info.

Yeah, I was just remarking that the taxonomist gaming reasoning Jeff gave seems a bit flawed, since the lack of this information doesn't necessarily prohibit gaming (I mean, you could even just do a tag search for that matter).

@TimStone I agree, the only people it seems to impair are those who've lost the "ownership" of a tag for unusual reasons.

Gaming taxonomist? Like creating a hypotetical question about asp.net-mvc-5 then waiting a really long time?
