I like the new look, actually. It looks more modern (or something - that might not be the best word). Sleeker.
Kind of makes the "everything bold" layout look obnoxious in comparison.

I liked it when my rep looked fat.

(Regardless of the underlying numbers)

We call people like you "chubby chasers."
People that like for their rep to have "more cushion for the pushin'", so to speak.

ahem...Let's agree to drop this analogy here, shall we

One more?
Ah, never mind. This is already gonna be an HR nightmare.
People that like a rep score they can sink their fingers into.
Okay, I'm done now.

The new vote count isn't politically neutral enough.

@Shog9 I fear that this is Physics.SE's fault. Before Jin met us he didn't have any of those strange tics nor the tendency to hide under the desk.

@dmckee ohhhhh.... That's right! Y'all are the ones who rejected that cool light-on-dark theme!
^^^^ Look at all that bold - clearly, this rejection prejudiced him against further use of the fatter fonts.

Bah. Apparently that only works if I actually engage myself in conversation.

To be honest I actually like the changes besides the slimmer vote counts. A trimmed down, minimalist interface is nice, but I miss how the votes totals used to say "Hey, look at this guy here, he has a big, fat 0. This other guy? He has a big, fat, +10"

I don't like my vote counts being called fat, it makes them feel too self-conscious...

Yo votes so fat, when someone up-votes you the arrow belches.

user200500
How do they feel about "gravitationally endowed"?

Technically inaccurate.
Stack Overflow vote counts are very pedantic.

user200500
Is this going to be about mass vs. weight?

2:29 AM
I don't know, ask them.

user200500
Who cares what they think, they're just a bunch of fatties.

2:52 AM
I like the slim numbers. You can fit 1000 in the same space that 100 used to take up.

@Luke So what you're saying is it's probably Jon Skeet's fault.

It's definitely...

It's Tim Stone's fault!

I find it disturbing that so many people refuse to wear a festive hat this time of year.

If I had a festive hat, I'd take a picture for my Gravatar, but alas, I do not.

Apricots aren't brown.

They're not? This one must be bad then...

Uh-oh.

I like how "your current reputation on Stack Overflow" caps out at "10,000+"... Jon Skeet must be thrilled, he's fitting into a group!!!

6:19 AM
Wait, wait, wait, I just noticed someone has claimed that something is my fault in the star list. What is this nonsense?

@TimStone: This nonsense is clearly your fault!

Unacceptable!

Unacceptable indeed!

Good point. I'd like to see him blame that one on Rebecca. Three demerits.
Two more and you'll lose your omniscience license.

@Scrooginator I actually didn't want to give away the secret because I thought she needed something to work on.

There's definitely something sinister about the new slim votes.
I probably shouldn't use that particular perjorative being left handed myself.

@TimStone I'm sure it was your fault. Has the Wheel of Blame ever been wrong?

I don't know if the wheel is ever wrong, but if it ever was wrong, I'm sure that'd be Tim's fault.

@animuson According to the wheel that'd be Yi Jiang's fault. As much fun as it is to blame Tim for everything, I'm pretty sure it got that one right.

@Luke Not wrong per se, but I'm actually just on there to indicate that the Wheel needs to be recalibrated when it begins to select me.

Here's the calibrated version. Guaranteed to be right ~5% of the time.

9:26 PM
@Luke Don't you mean this version?

Very good. Calibrated to 100% right. A definite improvement over 5%

Math.floor(17) because I'm classy like that.
You never know when that constant is going to change value.

Are you stacking the wheel?
I hope you're aware that that's a capital offense. You could be suspended for that behavior!

Q: Is there a list of all possible ways to earn and lose rep?

dymutaosThe F.A.Q. has a list of ways you can earn or lose reputation points. However, I have found that this list is not all inclusive. For example, it is unlisted that you earn points based on a comment you put on a question or answer that is upvoted (2 points). While not applicable to me, there are a...

No, it doesn't.
AFAIK, no sites have alterations to the standard ways of gaining rep as implemented on SO.

Do we have a policy against unicorns on SO?
