So, it appears that my bandwidth meter is reporting MB/s not Mb/s. That means I am getting decent throughput, for Fast Ethernet.

What I didn't realize was the my server's mobo does not seem to have gigabit Ethernet.

Still, I could've sworn that it did. I've wanted a gigabit switch since then.

Hey meta. Just wondering, what do I do if I post what I consider to be a good answer but it gets lost between other answers that don't yet have any up votes? Do you usually wait till someone scrolls to the end, votes up and the answer eventually pops up?

posts that have the same score are shown in randomized order (when sorting by the default "votes"), so your post will be on top sometimes

@Rebecca, but there are already plenty answers with non-zero up votes so technically it's still on the bottom.

did you post on something that has like 50 answers? >_<

the question will show up in the active list, so people will know something new was added and may go look for it
