I considered communicating with you guys by leaving and entering the room at certain intervals, creating a message in Morse code.

But I feared it would be too tiresome.

@TimStone no, not yet. My first wave of applications was not successful. Which may have been a good thing - I'm just realizing what I still have to do here before I can leave.

@TimStone yeah. Maybe I'll come over next year on a tourist visa for interviews. Doing immigration paperwork is a huge investment for an employer, so it will certainly help to see the employee beforehand.

Especially if the impression they have of you is your Meta.SO profile.
