@EatmoreTwisters Commercial a Tim Pooooooooooooooost!!!!! Pekka's being baaaaaaaaaaddd!

I was actually suspended!
I considered communicating with you guys by leaving and entering the room at certain intervals, creating a message in Morse code.
But I feared it would be too tiresome.
@RebeccaChernoff you're welcome!
I was suspended for saying Asshat. I don't even know what that means.

You probably also realized that we're terribly lazy and the message translation would have been cut off after the first few letters.

Asshat asshat asshat
@TimStone yeah, absolutely.
But then, if a room full of programmers can't decrypt a cryptic message like that, who can?

So, did things work out for you to venture across the Atlantic, by the way?
Hahah, your status was a nice touch ;)

@EatmoreTwisters This guy:

10:12 PM
@TimStone no, not yet. My first wave of applications was not successful. Which may have been a good thing - I'm just realizing what I still have to do here before I can leave.

I don't decrypt messages often, but when I do, they're cryptic messages.

@EatmoreTwisters Ah, well at least you're making sure you'll be well-prepared then

@EatmoreTwisters (:

@TimStone yeah. Maybe I'll come over next year on a tourist visa for interviews. Doing immigration paperwork is a huge investment for an employer, so it will certainly help to see the employee beforehand.
Especially if the impression they have of you is your Meta.SO profile.

@EatmoreTwisters Heh, just make sure not to say anything about a certain-kind-of-hat in the interview. ;-)

10:15 PM
@Moshe I don't get it! Who is that?

Aye, definitely. I hope things work out! I still think you're a bit crazy for wanting to live on the West Coast, but good luck to you anyway. ;)

@Moshe I won't. That happens only on Meta. :)

@EatmoreTwisters Yeah.....yeah.

@TimStone Thanks! :) :)

@EatmoreTwisters The Dos Equis guy. Famous for "I don't drink beer often. but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis." (A meme, apparently, I learned about it in this room recently.)
The Most Interesting Man in the World is an advertising campaign for the Dos Equis brand of beer, produced by the marketing firm Euro RSCG for Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery. The ads feature Jonathan Goldsmith as "the world's most interesting man" and are narrated by Frontline's Will Lyman. The advertisements first began appearing in the United States in 2006. Description "The most interesting man in the world" is a distinguished older, bearded gentleman who is shown through film clips of deliberately varying quality to have led an extremely eventful and colorful life, packed with over-the-...

10:16 PM
It's "I don't drink beer often." (Or, something like that)

@Moshe ahhh. That commercial hasn't made it to Europe yet I think. Nice.

He most certainly drinks often. I bet he smokes cigars, too.

Hah, that wikipedia page has some funny one liners.

LOL Apparently, I have not seen all of the commercials.

@Moshe Hahahaha! "If he were to pat you on the back, you would list it on your resume."
On Pick-Up Lines: "There's a time and place for them. The time is never. You can figure out the place on your own."
On Careers: "Find out what it is in life that you do not do well, and then don't do that thing."

10:41 PM
Well, enjoy.
