Q: VLC will sometimes have issues displaying video in fullscreen. What could cause this? How would I troubleshoot the issue?

Recently VLC has been having issues displaying video in fullscreen mode. AFAIK, nothing has changed with the video card drivers and it's certainly the same version of VLC. (/me shakes a fist at the repository maintainers) This has worked without issue in the past. In fact, I've had as many as ...

I have a set of differently sized bins which can be filled with increments of .25 and a lump sum of stuff with which to fill them. I can do the greedy algorithm which fills each bin easily enough in SQL, but I'm looking for the "balanced" algorithm?

So, they enter a time ticket with regular hours for a bunch of employees.

And they enter one lump sum of overtime onto that ticket.

Plus, each manufacturer will have one way or another of getting in my way... Let's see that's 6 versions of the OS, (1.5, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.0) 3 generic screen sizes ("small", "medium" and "large") and many manufacturers. Ugh.

As far as the screen-sizes issue is concerned, just target what you want. You can specify in the manifest file that you only target large screens

A kid at work (not IT) was on a clamshell. I talked him into a Droid2, and now he's on the thing non-stop doing everything. He's blown away at how much his usage patterns changed in 1 month

I must admit though, my iPhone's battery is a bit weak. To be fair, I'm in here (The Tavern) as soon as I wake up. (That's usually when you get my strange answers on meta.) I am on the phone until I plug it in and get coding, or until it dies. It does not last all day.

I get about 1.5 days out of my NS with moderate usage
