I remember using prototype briefly back when scriptaculous was the hot new thing... Then someone showed me jQuery, and I realized I could do the same stuff with a fraction of the code. Kinda killed my enthusiasm.

occasionally your head gives in and you tailspin into odd sleep patterns for a week or so
