So a couple years back, I did this "burn down" thing for a few days where I posted regular stats on how many tasks remained in each tag.
I thought that was pretty motivating. I don't feel much satisfaction in chipping another few dozen items off [javascript], but closing dups in [winapi] feels like progress.
Unfortunately, generating those stats in real time puts too much burden on the site.
But I wonder if keeping a meta post semi-updated would be worthwhile.

@SuperBiasedMan: Our central bet with Documentation is that the best way a broad community can contribute is to create long tail examples the same way we encourage long tail questions on the Q&A side.
