@Derpy actually, the "knight" is to blame, caused everyone to think of Game of Thrones, or Final Fantasy etc, while the Onion was the only vital part, leading to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onion_routing

@Derpy nah, I won a T-shirt once, it took about a month to arrive after I gave my address.
@ShadowWizard You may remember that my first guess was about anonymity, and to be more specific "Tor" - which symbol is an onion. We made a quick test to check if that was related to "connect to Stack using Tor browser" but failed.
Since the name was exactly the same as the Final Fantasy class, a class that has an onion shaped hat....

@b_jonas the background is pretty common. It seem to be the one they use whenever they need a main "plaza" with multiple windows around it. Seem like the one used when the ponies are hanging the icicles on the trees during the s5 Tank episode, or the one used during the Return of Harmony part two when Discord uses black pepper on a pony to make her sneeze. It is pretty common. I think it is assembled.
