Q: Why do we close non-duplicates as "exact duplicates"?

@JonEricson I've transcribed a lousy 40 seconds for the previous podcast in case you wonder who made that contribution. That 40 seconds took me 10 minutes or so. I assume others have a better tempo but I've concluded that transcribing podcasts is not my thing ;)
