Q: How come the nude protesters were not arrested?

Shadow The Vaccinated WizardI read today about the Anti-Censorship Activists in New York (Warning! NSFW pictures inside link) who protested against Facebook while being totally nude out in the street. I'm also pretty sure public nudity is not allowed in the USA. How come they were not arrested or at least warned by police...

I didn't really expect a good answer.
@AlwaysConfused where you want to post another question?

Q: India: Can late-diagnosed or adult-diagnosed autistics get a disability certificate?

Always ConfusedRPWD-2016, for the first time, recognises "autism spectrum disorder" as a valid disability. But it says INCLEN test and ISSA scoring are used for disability certification process according to Government Order. Incidentally, INCLEN and ISAA questionnaires are for children. Now, late-diagnosis and ...

Q: Indian RPWD-2016: How a person having intellectual disability but not autism is categorised? or an autistic person with not intellectual disability

Always ConfusedIndian RPWD-2016 removes the term "Mental retardation", and introduces the term Intellectual disability. However, this act classifies the term intellectual disability into Specific learning disability (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia etc). Autism spectrum disorder. Now this is, extremely confusing becau...

@ShadowTheVaccinatedWizard yeah @Zoethe1337Princess and I are neighbors ....

user334271
i prefer to remain anonymous

@rene :D
@AlwaysConfused well too late, we know you're from India...

user334271
@ShadowTheVaccinatedWizard how did u came 2 know?

But it's also obvious from the style of your writing. :)

user334271
8:15 AM
@ShadowTheVaccinatedWizard Do Indians write in a certain stylr?

user334271
??

@AlwaysConfused most, yes, it's something quite delicate that I can't really explain, just something I came to learn personally after 20 years of reading messages from people from India, on various platforms.
It's like a virtual accent.
e.g. few years ago I added something small to my "list", which is using "dp" for "Display Picture", instead of the term "avatar" or "profile picture" which is used by people from USA and Europe.

user334271
LOL Avatar is snskrit word

user334271
So indians would rather use AVATAR :D :D Loooooollll

@AlwaysConfused don't remember seeing it used by people from India before being told that's the common term, but yeah...

user334271
8:20 AM
it went totally reverse.

Might be wrong too of course, lol
It's all just my personal experience.

user334271
Avatar means a god's rebirth

@AlwaysConfused ohh lol

user334271
Suppose the God Vishnu appeared as Rama and Krishna in 2 different era

user334271
its called 2 AVATARS of same god

user334271
8:21 AM
Avateerna means descending

user334271
or appearing

@AlwaysConfused Interesting

@ShadowTheVaccinatedWizard particular (?)

user334271
Fun that the concept got more popular in West than its place of origin.

I think Hebrew might have something too, צלם, though it doesn't mean God comes down to us.
@AlwaysConfused yeah, might be worth to ask on English.SE or ELL

user334271
8:26 AM
Ava means down, Teerna means reaching. So avateerna means reaching downwards :D

user334271
Avatar (Sanskrit: अवतार, IAST: avatāra; Sanskrit pronunciation: [ɐʋɐtaːrɐ]), is a concept within Hinduism that in Sanskrit literally means "descent". It signifies the material appearance or incarnation of a deity on earth. The relative verb to "alight, to make one's appearance" is sometimes used to refer to any guru or revered human being.The word avatar does not appear in the Vedic literature; however, it appears in developed forms in post-Vedic literature, and as a noun particularly in the Puranic literature after the 6th century CE. Despite that, the concept of an avatar is compatible with the...

9:31 AM
cya ;)

@Zoethe1337Princess for me the urge to pee is usually the trigger to get out of bed.
:P
With kids, getting back to bed (in the weekend morning) isn't possible as they jump at me right away, asking for stuff.

I did that and went back in

sigh ... get out of bed, shower, dress and sit at the table for a brunch. Now!

I am out of bed, I'm gonna shower tonight, I did get dressed, and I am eating breakfast :p

Great. Don't go back to bed until you showered tonight.

9:48 AM
