It started for me when I was 5 I think. I remember this horrible allergy "test" that's better described as a torture method (injecting the allergen and looking for physical area reactions). Went off the scale when I was around 10, and kept getting worse from there. Fun :')

I've heard sometimes the people that take that test aren't necessarily allergic to the allergens injected, but to the other stuff that's also injected, so they get reactions everywhere XD

Certain allergies can trigger so-called cross-reactions (lit. translation) - basically meaning that it triggers reactions to other stuff even if there isn't an allergy against it. That's why tests are usually meant to be done outside the allergy season, and that's why it's better to do blood tests (makes it possible to test a single allergen without activating the full immune response for unrelated allergens). Not entirely sure though, haven't actually googled it

Yeah, me neither. I've never had any allergy tests. It's suspected some things give me eczema flareups, but that's apparently not 'an allergy' according to my doctor, so it's not something we could test for. It's more just keeping track of changing things, and a process of elimination :/
