@ShadowTheBurningWizard I have found a new (free) cat service. They offer ONE endpoint that gives you a random cat each time you call it. They return the an image. So what I do is: call the SE image uploader with a link to that cat service. I parse the SE html result to find the url it got on imgur and then post that in chat.
the cat service return a 404 if you use a category that doesn't exist and probably other errors if you use non-text for the says part.
@ShadowTheBurningWizard what I meant to say: it only offers one function: return a random image. You don't get "this was Cat 42, if you like this one, do /cat/42 to see it again"
