20:07
~ Making sure my dead body is never found, to play a joke on the AI by polluting its training data
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact not too hard to imagine at all. Probably just like whatever ritual is customary now XD
@Tinkeringbell Don't think I've been to a non-religious funeral.
Actually, I'm not sure if I've ever been to more than one funeral at all.
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact the religious one I've been too turned into a family joke. You too can die tomorrow! :P
@Tinkeringbell I can? How?
How did a funeral for a family member of yours become a comedy?
Lots of Memento Mori.
They're very pessimistic Christian
20:20
I'll need a longer explanation if I'm supposed to understand it.
Grandpa died. Both him and grandma were bible belt Christians, the kind that doesn't talk about forgiveness much but does do the whole fear of God thing. Preacher at the service looked directly at the grandchildren when preaching about how even we could be next
So the funeral wasn't about remembering or honouring your granddad, but about harassing the children?
That and some other religious reminders, yes XD. Though I didn't feel harassed, that's probably too big a word for it
If I'm lucky, my funeral will be equally beautiful.
Did the priest say your granddad went to hell, or something?
Nah. He was hopeful he went to heaven 😂
20:30
Only hopeful, not certain.
My mum used to work at a nursing home, and she said the majority of elders there were afraid of dying, most of them worried they'd be going to hell.
I bet I'm one of those when I get to be that age too. But that's hopefully still a while away
I thought you're not religious?
Big mouth, small heart :)
Ah, so you can't get rid of the hope. :P
I am not but this was drilled into me from such a young age, when I'm senile it'll probably resurface
20:36
Maybe.
I'd probably go the other way if I happened to become religious.
I remember around the age of 4, when the Christian people on this island told me "truths", and my response was that none of it made logical sense, it's just completely ridiculous.
Yeah, I don't think my neighbor should've invited me to the congregation before I started school.
In kinder garden, we had to pray before eating lunch. Such a weird ritual to me.
No, that wasn't even in kindergarden.
I kinda like prayer even when no longer religious. It's kinda meditative
That was pre-pre-school, before kinder garden.
There's parts I miss. Parts I don't miss at all... Stuff in between
I just wish that the gifts and love from the god, and eternal life with nothing but happiness, were true.
Same, I guess
20:41
Yeah, I'd probably be dead by now, then. Imagine I could skip right to the love and eternal feeling of being happy?

1 hour later…
21:43
~ Can't we be a bit moar talkative?
22:05
