@rahuldottech which track ?
@PrincessLuna may be storage issue ?
4:53 AM
@DroidDev Holy Fuck!
So if a girl (who will be really in need) will ask me for a lift, I should not give ?
If I won't, the she will play this song: youtube.com/watch?v=IU2ttJ73h2Y
@TheLittleNaruto has a random beautiful looking girl, in your whole life, ever asked you for lift?
5:14 AM
@DroidDev Those words are not just words but are blades which penetrates my heart deeper than real blades can.
@rahuldottech Nice man! Will have a look after reaching home
@rahuldottech Is it ok for you if I pin it ?
@TheLittleNaruto lol
5:42 AM
@TheLittleNaruto some simple, straight, correct, but very difficult to implement points: qr.ae/TUpi2O
@DroidDev Indeed. But I like that it is directly coming from a Muslim. It means some people getting aware of the negative side of Islam in their community itself.
@TheLittleNaruto there are a lot actually. But, the other lot is even having much larger numbers
@DroidDev and hence he has to become an Anonymous user
who knows someone would have put fatwa on him otherwise...
@TheLittleNaruto yeah man. I think, if one of us get enough popular opinion, even if its worth a dime, people in hinduism might also do the same, and we might need to go anonymous. Its there for every religion. But, the problem at hand is different
@TheLittleNaruto exactly man. Sometimes, I wonder, how can we reduce all this religious ruckus
@DroidDev TBH! In Hinduism it's very very rare
Many Hindus eat beefs, noone is going to stop 'em
5:55 AM
@TheLittleNaruto yeah, that's true. But, with enough political motive, sometimes, it happens easily
or put a fatwa kind of stuffs
@DroidDev I agree.
that's what I think (when I think with a calm mind). How to stop all this. One day, I was thinking, after retirement (can't do it right now), I might go and make people aware about these things. Then I thought, it will again go same way, because of this
people tend to get manipulated easily, if they are in large groups
@DroidDev LMAO that's true af.
dunno, how to educate this large population about it
That's why J. Krishnamurthi is not popular in India. Because he was not religious but a spiritual person. Listen to his teachings. This man told everything based on his experience.
He chose to be not religious, because otherwise people will start judging you based on your religion
So we all should follow his way of life.
6:01 AM
@TheLittleNaruto dunno man. Listening to some man, who claims to be religious/spiritual leader, is out of my thinking level atm. At some point of time, I start to think, that this man is saying what I already know (mostly) or is just stating obvious.
when I look for solution, I don't find any
@DroidDev He didn't claim that
and when I find some, I don't find a way to implement that
It's gonna be a drag! But we can't simply give up!
@TheLittleNaruto yeah, but still, mostly, I will get bored, because of no answers, and just stating problems, and imaginary solutions
the thing is, finding hardcore solution, is nearly impossible, without a long term plan
@DroidDev Please read it carefully when I say something.
Everything he told based on his experience. There is nothing imaginary
@DroidDev We may focus on giving our 20 years of life into this, then some changes can come.
6:03 AM
@TheLittleNaruto hmm....I might read about him. Listening to him will come after that. I need to know what kind of experiences he had
Because the target is huge number.
@TheLittleNaruto one way is to go to each village, city, gather a group of people and tell them. But, that's not practical. Local leaders has way more presence than we do
@DroidDev Right! We might get attacked by their goons.
Only way to reach to people is via Social Media I think instead of going to every places.
Once we get enough fame. then we might go thereafter to small villages/town
@TheLittleNaruto actually, I was saying that, even if we tell some people some thing, and they understand and agree with us. Local religious/political leaders have way more presence, and can get their own ideology to masses with much more ease. Which negates our efforts in small amount of time
@DroidDev Yeah I understood that, I was telling other side effects
6:07 AM
actually, I think, we should target for school education. It should be religion neutral, and science targeted.
George Carlin was a genius guy.
@DroidDev Right
@TheLittleNaruto horizontal (?)
@TheLittleNaruto well...yeah. He is one, from whom many of my atheists ideas are inspired (because of sarcastic, insulting, and straightforward comedic style of his)
he just didn't sugarcoat his comedy for it to sound politically correct
now, coming back to the point, how do you think the school education can be reformed, to be religion neutral. I think its pretty much neutral only, in terms of religion, already
so, what other reforms can we specifically target for, is the question
6:11 AM
We can educate 'em how important is a human life and hence we should respect and love everyone
We should give more and more emphasize on it
Because if a person will love and respect other, it is highly unlikely that some hate will come among people.
I think that's more like preaching love and I think that won't work
What I just thought is, that we should raise children to be logical thinkers
so they can decide for themselves, what they consider right/wrong
can we do it via school education?
I think there is one school which does that something like that
which one?
I forgot the name
6:15 AM
They have very practical approach to educate kids
They're not into remembering answers and questions and writing etc
but, it should be in the formal school education, which target masses. Like state education boards, central education boards etc
They're more into understanding kids; for that they have many mechanism and tools
@DroidDev That's an international school 😒
So can't apply to masses
But we can ask every school to apply the same technique
@TheLittleNaruto I don't know what's their technique. But, from what you told me, it seems like they have rejected theoretical exams, and are focusing on practical approach
but, that's not what I was talking about
I was talking about more on terms of
@DroidDev You're a man with brain <3
@DroidDev They're keeping very low profile w.r.t. religions
almost neutral
we should keep maths, science in curriculum, and exclude social studies.
6:20 AM
Why not social studies ?
It's important
social studies, include history along with other things. And our history is just filled with religious battles
Just being logical, you can't have any emotions or love among people
@DroidDev That we can exclude
that's their choice. Emotion is one thing which can't be explained logically anyway, and will come out in every being in one way or other
That's not true
@TheLittleNaruto but still, this doesn't give us the answer. That was just an idea. How can we raise our children to be logical thinkers, through their school education, was the question I was searching answer to
@TheLittleNaruto which part?
6:22 AM
If one thinks practically or logically on everything, it is highly unlikely they'll ever love people
IMHO, logic and love should coexist
@TheLittleNaruto well, that's the thing. You can't put everything in logical terms. I target to reduce this huge emotional bond, that we have with our religions. Emotionally bonding with people is fine, but not with anything else (I hope that conveys my point)
@DroidDev You should have clarified that.
@TheLittleNaruto exactly, and people should be able to differentiate what should be bonded emotinaly with, and what not
Our approach should be "Think logically + Love People + Exclude Religions "
@TheLittleNaruto actually, I am trying to find the answers through our conversation. Some things I have said, are answers to my own questions, that I am finding now, and some others that I have said in response to questions you asked, and I came up with a solution and that moment
so, I don't have any concrete answer now, but as you ask a question, or debate a point, I come up with a solution, which might be the answer
@TheLittleNaruto that "Love people" bit, is what I am not able to agree to. One is, I don't know why we need to teach that to kids via school education. Second is, as we grow, we develop bonds with surroundings, like friends, house, my bike etc, so we don't really need to teach it t someone
6:28 AM
Hmm.. To come up with concrete answer we need to take up some set of points. And I think above 3 points are well suited for our discussion to go further.
@DroidDev Note: Not everyone thinks like you.
they will develop that emotion in the right way, if left un-touched with. IMO, we should not teach love, because that influences the way one sees the life. It should be left to people to discover what they should love and what they should not
@TheLittleNaruto no no, that bike part was to explain that people will develop emotions, even if they are not taught to. That's how we grow emotionally. We like something, and we grow an emotional bond towards it. It needn't taught
@DroidDev I am still not sure about it.
@TheLittleNaruto but why?
I think not everyone will develop emotions if they'll never be taught. I am running outta logic to put for that atm
@TheLittleNaruto ok, we will take examples, like the bike one.
I am the kind who will put friends who are male, over the friends who are females. That's because I think they'll have my back always, and are more honest to me
that's one emotion that I developed since my early college days. I just sometimes outright reject girls because of this reason
it wasn't taught, but it was the one that I grew from interaction with my surroundings
also, how will we teach love?
6:36 AM
Of course, I can agree that it should not be emphasized like I said earlier. But even for 1% that should be part of education system
that's an emotion
@DroidDev So based on your experience you'll reject every new gal
even if she is a good gal
we can tell kids, through education, that nature is important. We need it to survive. Then, as they grow, they will be more attentive towards how they are effecting environment. That way, even if they don't love it, they will be cautious about pollution
That's valid point
1. That's not based on experience, but the emotions
2. I don't really reject, but I don't trust and if time comes, I'll be biased towards my male friends
now, having a girlfriend totally is a different emotion
@TheLittleNaruto so, that just solidifies my thinking, that developing logical thinkers will develop people who feel strong bond with whatever they like.
6:41 AM
@DroidDev That is certainly true based on my experience as well. But I don't want to accept that. Because in that case I'll be generalizing all gals.
@DroidDev <3
@TheLittleNaruto that's one shortcoming I have. I generalise, and am biased, in this particular way
so, now what I think we are left with is, "Think logically, and exclude religion"
lol, I like how excluding religion, includes science in more solid way automatically
ok, then on to next question
how to develop logical thinkers, through school education?
should I pin it? I would love to. cc @Sha ^
Sure why not
that way, we might keep coming back to it, and might find a good enough answer
6:45 AM
Even @Pri is also good in giving good opinions
but still, how do we do it?
~ Not everything is star-worthy...
~ Stars get removed under peer-pressure?
How about using Machine Learning techniques ?
umm...in what way?
like classification
6:46 AM
Let me think how should I put it into words
One thing I was thinking is, our education should teach kids to ask "Why" to something.
Irony is, kids are most curious beings, still, we succeed to restrict them to some ideas, and they forget to ask why? and hence forget to reason
@TheLittleNaruto that gives rise to logical thinking. For example, a simple thing. We are taught to touch feet of elders, but, if we don't know why, then it doesn't matter
6:51 AM
but, when we know why we are doing it, that just changes everything. Suddenly a person becomes able to think which ones they should respect and which one they should not
Yes right
that's why I thought, we should teach kids to ask "WHY?". Science says sun is important, kids should ask why? Social studies says society is important, kids should ask why?
hmm....will we be raising curious persons this way? Will that be beneficial, if we got a generation of curious people?
It's good
Because they'll never digest any illogical things which will have no reason
hmm...but how to do it?
also, Jiddu Krishnamurti sounds like a great being. I might buy one of his books
He is, I am telling you.
@DroidDev Man I have a solution, but not sure how to put it into words more precisely and fitting.
7:03 AM
@TheLittleNaruto start scribbing, you'll come across something
I'll try
Whatever we teach them we should always include a "why" i.e. reasoning. In that way they'll learn everything with a reasoning, so if later somebody will teach them something without reaon thy simply won't accept it. This can be one way.
@TheLittleNaruto the thing is, it has to be imbued into education, from 1st through 10th standard. Every subject should have that element, I think. Now, how to do it is another question, that I am thinking right now
@rahuldottech congrats!
@Moosebot lick @The @Princess who licked me
> Licks @The @Princess who licked me. Tastes like cow. Wait, what?
@DroidDev not really sure why, but yeah as RO you can do that. :)
what's so special about that message? (Might be missing something basic, sorry)
(if related to the discussion you had with @The Little Naruto, it's too long, didn't read yet.)
7:13 AM
well...the special about that question is essentially the crux of our discussion, that me and @TheLittleNaruto were having. We agreed on a point, that currently, our world is in turbulence because of people blindly following other people.
So, we need to teach our kids to think logically, before they subscribe to particular ideology and to teach that, we need to raise logical thinkers through school education. Our kids should be "taught" to ask "why", before they go and believe something told by someone
school education is included, because, one person can't bring about that level of change in society, even in their whole lifetime
and school education already targets masses
essentially, we will be raising responsible adults. Lol, dunno how to put it into words anymore. But, hope this conveys the point
Somewhat, yeah.
But those are just high dreams, you know, right? :)
Like dreaming about a world without wars, united happily ever after.
aka... not going to ever happen.
@ShadowWizard actually, I was thinking of reforming education system for that. It might bring peace, and it might not.
yeah, and it has high chances of turning into sand castle only
Well, to begin with, there's nobody out there to pick the glove and start doing such a thing.
but, for now, I will stick to it, and think of some way to reform education system, which improves reasoning skills in kids, and teach them to apply it in life
@ShadowWizard actually, in India, we have this government ministry, which decides the syllabus and all. Just need to hack its computers and do my thing, after I get the correct answers.
TBH, gotta take the expert advice here. Not an easy task
Fact of life: thinking logically, finding facts, etc, is hard. Most people won't bother. They will prefer to believe somebody else who they consider wiser/stronger than themselves, and keep following him/her blindly. And education won't help much to change it, it's human nature.
7:20 AM
hmm....that's true. Do you think, even while following someone else, if they have a faint thinking of why I am doing it, it will suffice?
@TheLittleNaruto hm?
@PrincessLuna Check first pinned message or this message
@TheLittleNaruto no, there's lots of free room
@TheLittleNaruto I'll get back to this after breakfast
@PrincessLuna sure

@Dro You might like this book
7:43 AM
@DroidDev will need more than that: alternative. Israel is perfect example. Our current Prime Minister (Netanyahu) has many followers who honestly hate him and know for a fact he's doing bad and wrong things, but there is no better alternative, so they keep voting for him. That is true in more levels. So even if the one you believe in has faults, you'll keep following them until you find someone better to follow/believe.
8:15 AM

@TheLittleNaruto read that as "giving good onions"... :D

@DroidDev Restriction is a huge problem here, kids are taught to do as they're told instead of thinking on their own
@DroidDev The problem is that some of these things are hard to figure out why. The "How I was raised" problem appears too
>>ping {{randomchoice {{read 4557824}}}}{{randomchoice {{read 4557824}}}}
@PrincessLuna that is what I am thinking, how we can remove through education, and put in a habit of reasoning in kids. A good teacher can teach their kids to reason, through teaching methods, but can we do it via educational methods?
@DroidDev Not that easy unfortunately
8:53 AM
@PrincessLuna figuring out comes later. It doesn't have to be an instant answer. It can be a question that keeps lingering in sub-cautiousness or might be a question totally ignored. But, right now, as i see it, we are a society, which doesn't ask questions en-mass
@PrincessLuna changing humanity is never easy... ;)
@PrincessLuna that's true. It might be my post-retirement life plan as well. I am trying to figure something out for that. If I save enough money to pay for rest of life, I can afford to do some free stuff for society as well. Otherwise, I'll just go tutoring kids (that's current post-retirement plan)
@TheLittleNaruto heh... you chose bad question. First, it's off the homepage, most people won't even see the answer. Second, it has good chance to be deleted soon, and you'll lose the rep. Third, well, the answer is mainly repeating things that were told many times before.
@ShadowWizard Unfortunately
8:56 AM
@PrincessLuna relegate (?)
@ShadowWizard :(
Nothing bad, but... I'm afraid not worth upvote, sorry. @The @Baby :)
I'll better edit posts then
That's more easiest way I think
Well, suggested edits are rare on MSE, and review is kind of strict, so...
@TheLittleNaruto lol, that's answered so many times, people now have that count as long distance measurements :P
8:57 AM
@DroidDev The majority doesn't ask questions, no. But there are still different fields th consider. Logical thinking of everything isn't easy, because the years of "Don't question our decisions" do eventually make a big impact
@DroidDev :D
Just don't review your own suggestions, it led to suspension of long time MSE user recenly. (IBUG)

@PrincessLuna that's true. But, this was the only solution I was able to come up with, to stop people from blindly following religious/political/and_other_power_hungry figures from manipulating them on large scales. With the invent of technology, these guys are making society more and more radical, for their personal gains.
picking only bots, racist!!! :P
9:01 AM
its also true that combating parenting style with educational methods will be very difficult. But, I think, consecutive generations will grow more and more logical
educational reforms are not long term plans, and they will affect slowly only
but anyway, now that I've found one solution, I have to check the feasibility
6-8 lifetimes away
@TheLittleNaruto I wonder, do 1 rep users like @Baby even get pings?
I'd expect no, since they can't respond...
@ShadowWizard They can see as highlighted in chat message, not that ping count on top of message box
@TheLittleNaruto but it makes sound and turns into inbox notification?
(after 15 minutes)
9:04 AM
@ShadowWizard lol, not a reason for stopping though.
Lol, its like scientific experiments related to space technology. People who started theories on black-holes, and people who are currently experimenting and studying those, will never get to see the results. But, in many many lifetimes, mankind will benefit from it.
@ShadowWizard Gimme a minute
wow, why am I so positive and philosophic today?
@DroidDev what did you eat? ;)
@ShadowWizard Umm not sure...
