The fact many others feel the same way like me (that the android app is "abandoned") probably means there's something in it.

@ShadowWizard there's definitely something in it, i've felt guilty about it for a long time. I'm trying to think of something to actually post on there since people definitely deserve to know what's going on -- It's not dead, it's definitely not dead, but yeah all new feature development has ceased for a long time and I'm not OK with that.

@KasraRahjerdi thanks for the sincere response, I can totally understand how hard it can be to have such a responsibility without enough resources to keep up the pace. Getting bad news is usually better than getting no news, so looking forward for official update, and that post indeed gives a good opportunity.
