Test: use jQuery to post a chat message
Yay! It works!
Here is the code: 
$('#input').val('Put your chat message here');
$('#sayit-button').click();
^^^^^ That only works if you run the script in the chatroom. Outside the chatroom, you need to use AJAX requests
But anyway, it works here!
