The main purpose of the Stack Exchange Moderator Agreement is to prevent the world from learning what goes on in the Teachers' Lounge, which is essentially a 24/7 laugh-fest of cruelty, belittling users and their complaints about the moderator elite's corruption and pointless brutality.
In a 2013 Stack Exchange survey, when asked about the main motivation for their being a moderator, most of them answered "hazing lusers". The survey was swept under the rug.
