@TimStone I just noticed you're not @TimPost too! I just saw you don't have a diamond in meta, and "wondered when that change happened".

Hah! :)

BTW I won't actually update meta.stackoverflow.com/q/49424/147650 any time real soon...

Huh, oddly enough I wasn't even aware that that post existed.
There's a related "What technologies are used to build the Data Explorer?" question which also needs some updating. So much to do, so little time! I'll make some notes.

A little thought I had last time I clicked Run Query when I had just followed a link to SEDE for the first time in a while: Include a login link when the CAPTCHA is displayed.

Ah, good idea.

@TimStone I want your view on this meta question. Is it possible? I don't think so.

It's possible to a certain degree of accuracy.

@TimStone Any idea how to start? (which table can I use?)

You have to manually build a user's reputation history using the Votes table, querying for votes applied to their post on a given day.

Okay. Thanks.. Going to find it... :)

But you'd have to be careful about Community Wiki posts, and you can't get reputation changes not related to post votes, so it won't be entirely accurate.
I actually thought someone wrote a query like this before, but perhaps not.
There are a couple higher, User 68210 on 2010-10-12 for 1338 is the highest, and 61305 on 2012-02-10 for 1228 being second...but some of those posts were later deleted so it won't appear impressive to the average user. Also, there is a tool, SQL! — Nick Craver Jul 27 '12 at 22:23
Admittedly it's probably not possible to write such a query for Stack Overflow, since the hoops you'd have to jump through to generate the numbers would likely cause the query to time out on this SEDE instance.
