Ok. Oner thing I am unsure of is how to work the fact that these will now be questions and answers, so if two people are working on them, they can't collaborate as easily
We could either work it where you candle one TH and I handle the other (or you handle both, HA!), or where we alternate questions and answers for the THs
I was thinking Community Wiki, but I really don't think the final answers should be CW because I don't think other people should be allowed to muck them up

You can always ask the questions from the first one, but then the people from the first one don't get to answer the questions from the second one (necessarily).

Let me ask a more concrete question: How do you want to help @TimStone? SHould we collaborate realtime via Google Docs on the two town halls? This seems like a good idea to me. But we could also switch off, I handle the first one and you handle the second, or, whatever
@TheRenamedException Crap, and I'm going to be delayed too since my boss just started asking me a question. We might have to do this one a little retroactively, but that's OK.
No rush, I just got layed into by my boss for not shutting my workstation down. I was all "I can software suspend it!" and... it didn't wake from software suspend. :-(
@jjnguy he said to shut it down so as to not risk corrupting the filesystem. I said I could swsusp and it would wake right back up. it didn't, so i had to fsck and he was not happy

To be fair, GSON makes this relatively painless. But Java + the requirements of "Make it work for all of my obscure scenarios that require JSON that was clearly intended to be returned from PHP" is a bit..eh.
the pain is indeed felt and shared; and my stuff is all binary, so you can't even check it visually. Once I spent about 2 hours to manually parse a message byte by byte, only to find that the code was fine - the test was wrong.
"right, take the 3 lsb, ok so that's [one of these], right-shift by [n] and parse that as base-128 octets with continuation, right, now handle that block as utf-8, minding the length..."
Ok the deployment is done. I see 3 minor issues myself, I have turned over to my boss to search for more. I can get a google doc started now, I except a laundry list to land in my IM shortly ;-)
