Q: What's the best way to list working for a company that was then acquired by another?

matt bIn my career I have two different instances of working for a company which was then acquired by another company. In both cases the acquirer was a larger, known-name company which I'd like to list on my resume. However at the same time, in one of these cases 80% of my time was spent at the pre-ac...

Based on the tag, it's ostensibly about Careers, but really it's a resume question masquerading as a Careers question. Migrate to Programmers SE, if anything.
@CRoss, threw my close vote your way

Q: Bounty question

ring0I was surprised not to have a lot of choice while starting a bounty for a question. 50 points (probably based on my current rep - but cannot set less) No option to set an expiry date Are there some options somewhere, or, basically, am I missing something?

Q: Limit the size of banner messages

Popular DemandThe "first time here" banner on some sites has gotten out of hand. See here: I've been using SE sites for long enough to know that the few pixels poking down from the banner belong to the "log in" link, but a newish user probably wouldn't. And good luck finding the FAQ, about page, SE dropdown...

So I guess "banner" = "notification bar."

Q: Why can the Yearling badge be awarded multiple times?

JXGIs the Yearling badge meant to be awarded every year to active users? This behavior seems...odd. Certainly if we take "yearling" literally.

Belongs on MSU:

Q: \n showing on user page (superuser)

a_m0dCouldn't see this one in the related questions, so here goes: I just found a bug on the SuperUser users page. For some reason there is a "\n" showing up on the in front of the "Have you considered accepting ..." above questions without an accepted answer. Using Firefox 3.0.13-1 on Fedora 10.

And another dupe:

Q: "Stack-overview" a dashboard for cross site users

RobI have now signed up to the 4 sites and I am trying to swap between them easily. In my usual slackness and developer mindframe I was wonding if there were any plans to have an overview for a person to see all their stuff across all the sites in one screen. A sort of mash up or web parts or somet...
