I never figured how it works, so dunno if it's a bug.
I mean, what is considered "main chat room"? There's no explicit flag or mark for that, anywhere.
So my assumption is that when there's any active chat, it's considered "main", and all the rest can indeed freeze, i.e. no bug.
But, can't know for sure.

@ShadowWizardLoveZelda I never said it was a bug.
It works as intended. (A room is frozen if it has 14 days with no activity - but the site keeps at least one room open.)
Still, when a site is created, typically a room is created together with that.
I guess if there is only one room associated with the site, it makes much more sense to keep some general-purpose room rather than election room.
But as I said elsewhere:

Of course, I understand that this is basically a non-issue, since the room is used so rarely.
