@OlegValteriswithUkraine few times I flagged spam (new user posting answer with link to suspicious external site), and mods insisted it's not considered spam. I can't argue with mods, so I just stopped flagging spam network wide, except MSE, and got out of that room.

@ShadowTheSpringWizard ah, I see - thanks for telling me! Weird (unless the links were truly innocuous, I guess) - since they were declined, are there any such posts that aren't deleted? You got me curious as to what they could've linked to if it didn't count as spam.

@OlegValteriswithUkraine well I might dig in the transcript, the posts should still be around, as mods protect them from spam flags or just remove the spam links. But it's not just declined flag, it's being told directly that what I consider spam is not actually spam.

Maybe they're right, but anyhow since I'm not sure anymore, prefer not to flag.

@ShadowTheSpringWizard only if you'll have some time to spare :) Just interested as it's rather unusual to get a spam flag declined and being reprimanded for doing so. Certainly unusual for SO, although I am unsure about other sites of the network. Policies on sites of the network that are not part of the Trinity weird me out sometimes.

It's just case of basic disagreement about something pretty important.
