I guess it this was more-or-less what you wanted - I guess simply looking up quid's chat profile and then using chat invite would work just as well. But it probably doesn't make much difference.

I just wanted to make quite an innocent remark that this is a situation you don't see that often - a room with no messages. I did not expect that it would spark much debate.

I still didn't figure why a new room, but it's fine, Meta chat isn't flooded with rooms.

quid is a mod on Mathematics and Mathematics Educators. They used to be active on MathOverflow before deleting their account.

I used to be active mostly on Mathematics - probably less so these days.

Both quid and me are rather active on Mathematics Meta. So it's quite natural that we run into each other quite often.

Considered posting a bug report about it, but not sure how to phrase it. IMO, private activity should be kept, well, private, even the last activity. It should just show nothing at all.

So I guess I have, but with the help of site mods, I was able to revert within a week of each of those! ;D I wasn't suggesting you were a pacifist. I respect your stances.
