Regarding the springerlink.com links, most of these broken links are on the following sites: Stack Overflow, MathOverflow, Cross Validated, Theoretical Computer Science, Skeptics, and Physics. There are a few on Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology & Neuroscience, on which I'll be focussing for some time. For the handful of remaining links on other sites, I've left comments indicating that the link is broken (wherever possible: there are some such links on locked posts, e.g. on Server Fault).

A long time ago, there was a post concerning EOM on Mathematics Meta: Link Rot Notice: Springer EOM. Although the post mentions eom.springer.com.

@Martin Right, right... Perhaps at that time there wasn't any issue with eom.springer.de. Or, it could have been missed, I guess.
