@KevinB This is a little ironic, because I already had this discussion on this exact post. But all the comments were moved.
And.. I was also told that I missed the point :D

@Unconsidered You weren't having a discussion... Because a discussion would imply you were open to being corrected if you were wrong, which you were not. At that point, the comments aren't a discussion, they're just soapboxing.
And then they can go, they're no longer needed.
But that's okay, you didn't want to have a discussion so I shall respect that, but there's no need to lie to others and say that you were 'having a discussion'.

I feel that that is your opinion. And that it is not the truth at all.

To quote from your deleted comments:
> I don't think debating my personal understanding is constructive. I don't think telling me that I don't understand it is either.

Basically from the moment you tell me what I know and what I understand, the entire discussion is moot. Because then it's all about what you think are my personal perticular shortcomings.
Telling me what I understand has no place in a discussion. And I never did that.

You were misunderstanding my post, you were misrepresenting what I said with your comments. I tried to correct and clarify that, and you weren't open to that. Then there's no discussion, there's just you putting a soapbox there and expecting to be left alone.
But, again... I'm sorry I wasted my time on you yesterday and I won't waste more of my time on you today.

And I clearly stated that I would hardly be the only one.. and that's what's so ironic :)
It's the entry. There's a difference to saying "This isn't what I meant in my post" to "You didn't get it".

No. Bad mod. Don't waste time on someone means don't waste time on someone.

My understanding of the sentence was that it was personal. And I can't say that I'm getting a less impression of that ;)
