I remember reading about hacking method that involved making the computer's HDD light send the data in sort of morse code, and actual camera record it then hackers analyze the data and extract it. It's meant for computers without internet connection.

the idea is that you use the checkbox to send a message in morse code, and then get a reply

but... even if you manage to send the message, the reply is morse code too... and I can't really understand that.

And if I was meant to "play" with the Explain page open to see what the game is telling me... then I can just read the Explain page and skip the play part.
