hi @schtandard! I saw your comment on this Stacks GH PR and decided to work on it. The TeX highlighting looks like this.
however, I don't think applying these colours to every language is a good idea
because it probably isn't easy to implement such exceptions
also, you should consider proposing colours for dark mode as well as high contrast light/dark mode
(looks like this in dark mode)
because these changes will be applied network-wide
