I don't see there being 5-6 plugins (inside core like this) but I take your point. :-)

And as I say that I add 3 more plugins, LOL. Though they are internal ones we're stuck with until v11. (not an additional download cost)

Adding --with and --without to the build system sounds fun, but honestly seems such a minor use case... since the idea is to rip those 3 new ones out with v11, leaving us with just Vue again.
