the "improve empathy" goals of experienced users among stack staff creating new accounts, and less experienced ones exploring the sites, seems like a great move

i have thought about one day creating a new account on RPG.SE to see what the new user process feels like nowadays

that requires more engagement than i have currently, but when/if i re-engage to that level, i might try that

@JourneymanGeek oh, yeah, that's a fair point. i won't get an accurate picture of RPG.SE onboarding because i already know all of its ins and outs and will be able to skip most of the friction points and just leave quality content people will approve of.

(Aibo wasn't actually meant to be a secret sock - it was basically me being paranoid over getting fired at short notice but wanting to pop into SE over lunch breaks on a work PC :D )

but using it as a low rep user had a certain appeal

@JourneymanGeek I considered doing that and ultimately decided that it wasn't realistic currently. Maybe when I'm done with the army in... probably three years (depending on what position I get)
