@Mithoron well, the first three episodes were fucking fantastic. Incidentally, I think the first three episodes of Peaky Blinders were great too.

The rest, it starts to stagnate quite a bit. I dunno how much of it you've watched, but the show falls into the same trap avoiding which has made GRRM famous. Giving a lot of characters quite the plot armor, making the baddies lose at almost every point they would have managed to win good, so ultimately the puzzle pieces are set so the heroes attack the monster right where it hurts

Cue the next season

You can't shake off the feeling that you're looking at a product, not a passionate work.

Still, it was sorta entertaining. I don't regret watching it like I do Peaky Blinders; might watch next season when it comes out

@M.A.R. Gonna be at least one more season, so who knows...

But 2nd seems worse, kinda like to many storylines
