@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 well his goons are much weaker at polarizing people, but I guess even the US has lost hope for the US.
@Mithoron Dune? Well, the story itself was never flawless. Yet somehow it all fit together so seamlessly, making it the archetypal sci-fi story.

With Dune... I read it so long ago that I only remember it in broad strokes. Should have reread it instead of reading these last dumb sequels, I guess.
