2:59 PM
@M.A.R. So, plundered Mortuary thoroughly; not killed any zombie you can talk later?
I guess you can (temporarily) join Dustmen soon after getting out of there.

1 hour later…
4:13 PM
@Mithoron Didn't kill absolutely anyone.
@Mithoron I don't wanna because Fell advises not signing anything.
I joined Godsmen, then joined the Sensates, now apparently the Godsmen leader (Keldor) is too pissed to let me be a Godsman again, but I have access to the 'secret project' and everything, so that doesn't seem to be a problem. I wish I got that badass dagger from his shop before quitting, but eh.
Boy was I dumb the last run
Embarrassingly so.
I haven't stolen anything but I don't have money to buy Cloudkill.
Tomorrow's run I'm gonna grind Undersigil and Modron's maze
Been a quick run huh

3 hours later…
7:04 PM
@M.A.R. Umm, I think I did something like a hectic pace run back then, and advise against it. It was then that I missed raise dead skill from D. and probably this ring too.
@M.A.R. Umm, you mean "dead contract" or faction? Contract can give you a bit money, but faction gives a few quests you can't get normally.
@M.A.R. You got +1 Wisdon from Sarossa? Also what I told you about Sensates being pointless?
@M.A.R. You have bad influence - I got Annah steal some stuff ;)
Stealing receipt from this Nadilin (?) godsman and giving it back gets you an interesting weapon

7:53 PM
@Mithoron the bluff didn't work.
@Mithoron well I screwed around a lot to make sure I remember the important stuff
@Mithoron I dunno what Fell meant, but he probably meant the dead contract
Anyway it was just like 50 coppers or something

1 hour later…
9:02 PM
@M.A.R. Umm, that was a joke (out of universe) - in universe he probably meant it, but it doesn't matter. You can even make 3 contracts, but it makes you more chaotic :D
I don't think I ever signed it, after tearing one of them...

@Mithoron well FYI now I'm lawful good
I haven't requested any money ever, and till now I think it makes around 2k difference of money.

:D Me too, but I'm on verge of slipping into N. Good

(Till Clerk's Ward and Modron maze)
@Mithoron I haven't pickpocketed anyone in this run, I think I might some time
Those darn bodices for Annah and Fall-from-Grace are damn expensive

@M.A.R. Just stole them :D

@Mithoron haha I did the same last run
I think I will steal them
Is Stealing chaotic or chaotic evil?

9:07 PM
You ask me ;)
I'm not sure it affects alignment - bashing all locks in game doesn't :D

Innocent whistle

But it's pretty tough to keep lawful - I only got it on 3rd (?) run

Stealing is evil
Doesn't seem to be chaotic, according to them

HUh

@Mithoron well, I mean, when I'm bashing locks the guards just stare at me, but if I fail at pickpocketing I'm screwed, so there might be a difference
Speaking of chaotic, I wanna watch Mandy some time

9:14 PM
Semi-good role of Cage? First in 20 years?

Not first, I think. He also did a movie with the Coens
I mean not Raising Arizona of course, a recent one

Well, he did Colour of Sky but later
As far as coens I dunno

Oh wait
The director is Werner Herzog, I misremembered
The sequel to Bad Lieutenant

I think I heard about original, but...
Well, does seem decent
BTW about LG alignment - you used these tears of harmonium?

@Mithoron I have used one, yeah
The other I don't have the money to buy

9:23 PM
Mhm, also kaleidoscopic eye from D's legacy and later a good weapon
@M.A.R. Mandy's horrorific so dunno, might watch it some day, like Color
Did you see Annihilation yet?

Nope
Watching Daredevil still

I watch Invincible, but need to wait for each episode ;/
Also started Wandavision

@Mithoron Meh, doesn't seem good
I really had my hopes high for it

Isn't bad.
Invincible's contrast between YA stuff and gore is jarring, but I guess I would enjoy it more if I didn't spoil it by reading about the book it's based on
@M.A.R. Seems not a sequel, though

@Mithoron A remake? There's also a 1990 movie I think

9:39 PM
No, seems unrelated

Okay, remake then

Seems also not a remake

@Mithoron Well remakes are often unrelated?
Anyway obligatory commentary on things I've watched as is the chat's custom
Daredevil season 1 is good. It's not exceptional, but it has that nice balance between being avatar-y, you know, simple people doing things but with real emotion, and some not too detailed gore.
Season 2 sucks.
Like, very much.
I mean, it's not that bad. But life is too short for 'not that bad'.

Told'ja it's worse

It's really comic-booky, which means it's sometimes cringey, sometimes corny, sometimes has glaring plot holes

9:43 PM
Heard 3 is back on track with Fisk coming back

By the end of season 2, my little brother is a fan and he's the reason we're watching the show, and he's been defending it a lot, but by the end of season 2, I was really saying "good riddance"
(that the show got cancelled)
But Season 3
Holy crap
HOLY CRAP

0.O

It's amazing. And that's coming from a snobbish jaded everything-sucks self-proclaimed movie buff

Sh*t, shouldn't have stopped watching :D

Not just back-on-track, probably some of the best superhero series there will ever be.
It made me regret that the show got cancelled as soon as episode 4.
Now we're on nine or something
Great shows make you ask for more as soon as the episodes finish, they make you devour what you're watching and not feel like the time is passing, things like that
Season 3 ticks all the boxes.
Plot twist after plot twist, but in a good way. Fisk isn't just back

9:47 PM
@M.A.R. Huh? You meant there's no 4th season

I mean, the season 1 Fisk was good, back then I was thinking "oh yeah, I really didn't think they would be able to make a live-action Fisk, but the Full Metal Jacket guy pulls it off nicely"
But also, I thought "Okay, does he do this to all his goons? How is he the Mafia boss? He doesn't seem smart"
In Season 3, Fisk is a smart psychopath that keeps showing his middle finger to the heroes at every turn
@Mithoron I meant I was pouting and angry about the time I wasted on Season 2 but Season 3 changed my mind immediately
Till now, I count one plot twist (out of a several dozen in Season 3) that was kinda 'out of nowhere' and didn't seem necessary. But still, even if it wasn't, how the characters dealt with it was still amazing.
And Matt has this jaded attitude to him in Season 3, doesn't believe in anything much anymore.
All in all, just go watch it man
Instead of Wandavision
Wandavision and Falcon and Long title seem to get some flak in IMDB for being "woke", but I ain't buying it.
Still, they don't seem anything I couldn't do without. And because of budget reasons, the big Marvel movies I'll watch would most probably be independent
*box office reasons

10:09 PM
@M.A.R. Well, not wholly independent. Seems they don't continue this Agents of S. separation. Still, I guess it'll be somewhat bonus to films.
