Taking it very slowly, I think. I'm exploring here and there, mostly avoiding the main story beyond what other NPCs bother me with

What companions do you have?

@M.A.R. Huh, well, finding some tutorial / solution isn't a bad idea.

Well most bad decisions can be fixed with reloading, but there are also bugs and tricky things like reputation vs alignment of companions

@Mithoron of course. I feel like I can botch it up greatly and not even know it.

@Mithoron now? Minsk, Dryaheir or something, Jaheira (can't get rid of her, she's too useful), Khalid (comes with the Jaheira package), and Neera (because of her identification spells). Others I commonly use are Imoen and Rasaad

I wonder if that woman in stone I just freed would make for a good replacement for Jaheira. I'm vaguely aware that the followers' alignments is important, but my character has been partial to goody two shoes characters anyway.

Rasaad was a pain in the ass. Guy won't wear a single piece of armor I give him, and kept rushing everywhere and being targeted and killed by everyone. But his story and voices were fun

@M.A.R. It's better to take here away from there, because a bug makes her being stone again if you leave her and go back. And she's pretty good afaik.

@M.A.R. You know they can learn spells from scrolls?

I think you probably should dual-class Imoen, if you'll keep her as companion. It's a bit tricky, though.

BTW If you already got to Branwen, then I don't see how it's slowly. Playing like that you'd catch up to me in a matter of days

Well, quite a bit of days since I'm (really) slowly getting to the end

@M.A.R. You can travel with "bad guys" like Edwin, Xzar, etc. as long as your reputation isn't too high. If you get over 18 they leave.
