@Mithoron it's slower, in a way. Not so much gore until the final episodes. At first you're weirded out by the double American Obi wans, then by the time you get used to them the symbolism comes along, then one episode is weird and surreal, and then the Fargo-y conclusion.
As always, I started the season with some healthy skepticism, but this season pulled off the most important job of all as well: It made me care about flawed, sometimes immoral characters and their tragedy. That's the biggest praise I can give it, I think.
