Hey, @shadow. It occurred to me that what I said in the tavern might be moscontrued as an antisemitic attack. I just wanted to clarify that it was nothing of the sort! I have issues with people who visit the sins of the fathers onto the sons, but this has nothing to do with Jews!

Honestly, I usually think of it in terms of the Greeks. We tend to obsess about how the evil Turks were so horrible to us a few hundred years ago and I get very tired of it.

I just wanted to clarify that. My father ran away from home as a teenager and went to live with a Jewish family whom I grew up thinking of as my family too. I may have my issues with the foreign policies of the state of Israel, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the Jewish people. No more than I'd blame some random american for Trump.
