@ShaWiz Yes, I know that if you're suspended on Meta Stack Exchange, you cannot chat on this chatserver.
Still, I've seen some threads where several user expressed the opinion that it is a bit unfortunate that suspension on a single site means that user cannot chat everywhere.

Suspensions are in most cases carried out per-site, users are not banned from the whole network in general. There are network-wide suspensions, but they are not used for misbehaviour of users. Users get a fresh chance on another site even if they have been suspended on another SE site. So I was ...

As things are now, site suspensions for a user's parent site result in chat suspensions. It works fine, unless of course, a malcontent has a different site as his parent and pops over to troll you.
