Sorry, @quid, but at this point, I find no one that I can, in good faith, vote to be a third moderator on mese. I was leaning towards voting only for Tommi, (I find one candidate too boastful, and the other, too inexperienced), but ... I no longer lean that way. Someone will be elected. I would have liked to see your own recommendation for nomination.
Note, @quid. My questions about the election, on the self-nomination page, and on the Q&A page, are not to satisfy my own curiosity, but rather, to encourage candidates to fully answer the questions you posed. Unfortunately, at least one candidate has responded defensively to me. Should I not point out when a question has not really been answered? Or should I be a "good little girl" and praise anything that's written?
Hello, @user475381. Seems you're interested in the discussion here. Can I assist in any way?

@Namaste being a mod, I find it tricky to recommend somebody as a mod. Maybe I did it last time on math.se but it being a bit larger, especially with more mods, it's slightly different.
I think Benjamin would have been a very good choice, but they don't want to it seems. I also think all the current candidates are good. Tommi is very active. The site could need a really active mod.
@Namaste the situation of being a candidate can be a bit stressful. If one then is faced with many questions it can be uncomfortable, especially if they come from somebody one might not know (well). It's fine that you ask for clarifications if you want to have them. But there is always the middle ground between praising and critique, namely to say nothing. Please do not take this as me wanting to silence you.

@quid I understand what you are saying here. No offense taken. Sometimes, as in this case, I am merely trying to help prompt someone I think has great potential to say more. In some ways, maybe I'm too "paternalistic" in the sense that I think expanding will only help a candidate, not hurt them,
...but I recognize that what I ask might seem confrontative, when I mean only to encourage their being more explicit and clear.
Also, @quid Thanks for the feedback!

@Namaste indeed, in writing intent is often hard to convey. Meanwhile the election started. Lets see who we'll get.
