Hey there, I see you're frustrated over your downvoted feature request. If you want to discuss it, feel free to do so here, I'm a good listener. :)

I am just really, really annoyed that I have lost almost 40 reputation from one question that I can't delete now.
I don't like how downvotes just signal disagreement. I wish it was signaled in comments instead of downvotes.

@publicstaticvoidmain I feel for you, really. But... that's just how things work. Nothing is personal. I hope you see that, at least?
And 40 rep is easily gained on MSE, believe me. :)

@ShadowWizard yeah I guess I understand that.

All in all, you can ask to disassociate that feature request from your account, to do that flag your own question (with the downvotes), choose "Other" and in there ask to disassociate the question from your account and explain why. Just stay nice, and good chance they'll do it.
Then you'll gain the rep back and there won't be visible "stain" in your profile.

Okay, I think I'll go do that :)

Cheers! Just be patient, since on MSE the mods are actually SE employees, they have other things to do, so might take some time to handle flags.

All right, as long as they get to it eventually it'll be fine with me.

Let me know when you flag, if it won't be handled in 2-3 days I'll try to use some unorthodox methods. ;)

Cool! I asked nicely, so I think I've successful cast the charming spell ;)

Hey, I'm the Wizard here! :D

Maybe I'm the wizard-in-training, just learning how to cast a spell? :)

2:15 PM
@publicstaticvoidmain you can become one, sure. What spell you want to learn? ;)

I want to learn the "public static static void main" spell :)

abra kadabra
public static void main(String[] args) {
    Shadow.Print("hello world!");
}
Here, now you know the spell. :D

Thanks, that's a really important spell to know

Well, if you want a beer, head over to The Tavern, if you want to have fun with bots, you're welcome at my Den. :P

All right, I'm going over to The Tavern.
