What should I be careful of doing after a long 1 years suspension not to trigger another suspension?

I noticed that is is why easier to get suspended now on some SE sites now then ever, while on others that I haven't been suspended I am allowed more leeway. Is there a probationary period or will it always stay like that having to be extra careful?
